I Know Better Now is a Byrds-influenced country rocker that Ronnie Jeffrey and I wrote several years ago. The meaning of the song is fairly obvious. The first version was written back in the eighties after someone sent me a copy of my college girlfriend’s wedding announcement. I trashed the original music and Ronnie and I rewrote the song in the mid-nineties. You can hear the MP3:
I’m Your Man is a straight country number that Ronnie and I wrote a few years ago. It’s a simple message, but one that really speaks to me and every other guy who married over his head. Here’s the MP3:
I’m Not Your Pigeon is one of the funniest songs I’ve ever written. Even now, I can’t listen to it without laughing. The funniest thing about it is that it is sort of a true story- though to make sure I stay married let me state clearly that it is not autobiographical.
