Kent’s Songs A-Z – Country Mile

This week’s song is Country Mile.  Here’s the MP3:

One morning many years ago I was on my way to work and I saw a girl in a cowboy hat driving a pickup truck. I thought it was cool that this cowgirl was driving down the highway along with me and a bunch of other commuters heading to downtown to our offices and our corporate jobs. This song followed shortly thereafter.

I co-wrote it with my friend Bob Clay. This version of the song is from a record by Mr. Jack and The Daniels.
