When I first moved to Texas, and was trying to decide if I wanted to be a yuppie or not, it seemed to me that every car I saw (a) was a Honda and (b) had a smoking hot girl in it. I decided not to be one, and ultimately realized they actually drive trucks.
I was standing out on the highway
Trying to thumb a ride
I waved at lots of pretty women
As they passed right on by
Finally a big truck stopped to get me
He rolled his window down
I said thanks but this ain’t no Honda
I think I’ll hang around
Chorus:
Pretty girls don’t drive big trucks
They don’t drive station wagons
Pretty girls all drive Hondas
And I’m gonna find me one
A policeman came and arrested me
He said I broke the law
By hitch hiking in the interstate
I said I did not know
I said I’m looking for a woman
But I ain’t found her yet
He told me I’ll let you go this time
But don’t ever forget
Chorus:
Pretty girls don’t drive big trucks
They don’t drive station wagons
Pretty girls all drive Hondas
And I’m gonna find me one
Bridge:
I really love the freeway
Because it makes me feel so free
I just need a Honda girl
To take me where I want to be
Chorus:
Pretty girls don’t drive big trucks
They don’t drive station wagons
Pretty girls all drive Hondas
And I’m gonna find me one
